Welcome to Taj Fashion (“we,” “our,” “us”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website:

and the purchase of any products or services offered by Taj Fashion, a luxury bespoke bridal couture atelier registered in the Netherlands.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. General Terms

Taj Fashion specializes in custom-made bridal and occasion couture garments.

All garments are handcrafted and produced exclusively to individual customer specifications.

These Terms apply to all users of the website, including visitors, customers, and clients engaging in virtual consultations.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

All Taj Fashion garments are custom-made and personalized according to client specifications, including but not limited to:

  • Measurements

  • Fabric selection

  • Color preferences

  • Embroidery details

  • Design references

Once an order is confirmed and the required advance payment is received, production begins and the order becomes binding.

In accordance with European consumer protection regulations, custom-made and personalized goods are exempt from statutory withdrawal rights.

No cancellations, returns, or exchanges are permitted once production has commenced.

Digital approvals, written confirmations, and measurement submissions constitute legally binding acceptance of final order specifications.

3. Measurements & Fit

Garments are produced strictly based on the measurements provided by the customer.

The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that submitted measurements are accurate and current.

Taj Fashion is not liable for fitting concerns resulting from:

  • Incorrect or outdated measurements

  • Body changes after measurement submission

  • Third-party tailoring or alterations

Any post-delivery alterations performed by third parties void our liability for garment structure or fit.

Where feasible, minor alterations may be offered at additional cost.

4. Production & Delivery

All production timelines are estimates and provided as guidance only.

Due to the handcrafted nature of couture garments, slight variations in completion dates may occur.

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Material sourcing

  • Artisan workload

  • Customs clearance

  • Courier services

  • Force majeure events

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the courier service.

5. PAYMENTS

Full payment (100%) is required at the time of placing the order.

Taj Fashion does not accept partial payments, installments, or cash on delivery (COD) for any custom or made-to-order garments.

Production will begin only after full payment has been successfully received and confirmed.

All payments made are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, delay, change of mind, event postponement, or personal reasons.

No order will be processed, reserved, or scheduled for production without complete payment.

Accepted payment methods are those available through our Shopify store checkout system.

6. Pricing & Taxes

All prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice.

Prices may be shown in EUR or other currencies depending on location.

Applicable VAT or taxes are included where required under Dutch and EU regulations.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, inaccuracies, or omissions without prior notice.

7. Color & Design Variations

Due to the handcrafted nature of our garments:

  • Minor variations in embroidery, texture, or dye may occur

  • Color tones may vary due to lighting or screen settings

Such variations are inherent to couture craftsmanship and do not constitute defects.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, sketches, embroidery patterns, product images, branding elements, and creative materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of Taj Fashion.

Purchase of a garment grants ownership of the physical item only.

Reproduction, replication, resale of designs, or commercial use without written consent is strictly prohibited.

9. Order Acceptance

Orders are considered accepted only after:

  • Advance payment has been received

  • Required design and measurement details are submitted

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in cases including but not limited to:

  • Fabric unavailability

  • Payment issues

  • Incomplete information

  • Suspected fraud or misuse

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Taj Fashion directly to resolve concerns before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.

In the event of a chargeback, we reserve the right to submit all relevant documentation, including measurement approvals, policy agreements, and communication records, to the payment provider as dispute evidence.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in restriction of future purchases and recovery action where applicable.

11. Website Usage

You agree not to misuse the website for unlawful purposes, including:

  • Attempting unauthorized access

  • Uploading malicious code

  • Interfering with website functionality

All website content remains the property of Taj Fashion and may not be copied or redistributed without permission.

12. Account Security

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Communication Policy

By providing your contact information, you consent to receive:

  • Order confirmations

  • Production updates

  • Shipping notifications

  • Consultation communications

Marketing communications are sent only with consent and may be withdrawn at any time.

Transactional communications related to your order cannot be unsubscribed from.

14. Limitation of Liability

Taj Fashion’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Event cancellations

  • Fitting issues due to customer-provided measurements

  • Courier or customs delays

  • Third-party alterations

15. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental actions, strikes, pandemics, customs interruptions, or supply chain disruptions.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes arising from transactions with Taj Fashion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.
