At Taj Fashion, every bridal and couture garment is handcrafted with precision, artistry, and personalization. Each creation is made exclusively to order and tailored to the customer’s exact measurements, approved designs, fabric selections, and embroidery specifications.

Due to the bespoke and personalized nature of our couture garments, all sales are final. This policy ensures clarity, transparency, and respect for the craftsmanship invested in each individual piece.

In accordance with applicable European and Dutch consumer protection laws, custom-made and personalized goods are exempt from statutory withdrawal rights.


1. No Returns or Exchanges

All Taj Fashion garments are custom-made to individual customer specifications, including but not limited to fabric, color, embroidery, silhouette, and measurements.

Returns and exchanges are not accepted under any circumstances, including:

  • Change of mind

  • Event cancellation

  • Delay in event date

  • Personal preference

  • Travel restrictions

  • Incorrect ordering decisions

Each couture garment is uniquely handcrafted for a single client and cannot be resold, reused, or repurposed.

Production begins only after the customer has reviewed and approved final design details, fabric choices, and measurements. Digital approvals and written confirmations constitute binding acceptance of order specifications.


2. No Refunds

All payments made to Taj Fashion are strictly non-refundable.

This includes:

  • Advance payments (minimum 50% required to initiate production)

  • Balance payments made prior to dispatch

  • Full payments for confirmed orders

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, dissatisfaction based on personal preference, event postponement, sizing concerns arising from incorrect measurements provided by the customer, shipping delays outside our control, or any other reason related to a made-to-order purchase.

Refunds will only be issued where required under applicable consumer protection laws.


3. Alteration Requests

We understand that fit perfection is important. While garments are produced according to customer-approved measurements, minor alterations may occasionally be required.

Alteration requests must:

  • Be submitted within 48 hours of delivery

  • Be supported with clear photographs and explanation

  • Relate strictly to fitting concerns

Alterations:

  • Are subject to feasibility assessment by our atelier team

  • May incur additional charges

  • Do not include redesigns, style changes, or silhouette modifications

Customers are solely responsible for providing accurate and current measurements at the time of ordering. Incorrect or outdated measurements void any claims related to fit dissatisfaction.

If alterations are approved, the customer will be informed of applicable costs and shipping procedures.


4. Quality & Craftsmanship

Each Taj Fashion creation undergoes multiple quality checks before dispatch. As all garments are handmade, slight variations in embroidery placement, weave texture, stitching, or color tone may occur.

These characteristics are inherent to handcrafted couture and are not considered defects.

In the rare event of a genuine manufacturing defect, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Clear photographic evidence

  • A written explanation of the concern

Our team will assess the matter on a case-by-case basis.

Possible resolutions may include:

  • Repair

  • Partial rework

  • Store credit

Refunds will not be issued unless required under applicable law.


5. Damage During Transit

We take exceptional care in packaging your garment securely.

If your parcel arrives visibly damaged:

  • You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery

  • Provide photographs of the outer packaging and garment

  • Include courier tracking details

We will coordinate with the courier service to initiate an insurance claim where applicable.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery by the courier. Claims reported outside the specified timeframe may not be accepted.


6. Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.

Production commences immediately after receipt of the required advance payment and approval of order specifications.

Because materials, embroidery work, and artisan time are allocated specifically to your order, advance payments are strictly non-refundable.


7. Force Majeure

Taj Fashion shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Customs delays

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Strikes

  • Pandemics

  • Courier interruptions

Such circumstances do not qualify for refunds or cancellations.


8. Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date measurements

  • Carefully review and approve all design details before production

  • Understand that this is a custom-made couture purchase

  • Report any genuine issues within the timeframes stated in this policy

Failure to comply with these responsibilities may void eligibility for alterations or claim assessment.


9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers agree to contact Taj Fashion directly before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.

Raising a chargeback without prior communication may result in:

  • Submission of all order approvals and communications as dispute evidence

  • Permanent restriction from future purchases

  • Recovery action where applicable


10. Right to Refuse Service

Taj Fashion reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or decline future transactions at its sole discretion in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, policy violation, or payment disputes.

12. Legal Disclaimer

This policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes arising from purchases made with Taj Fashion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.

Taj Fashion’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the value of the garment purchased.
