Thank you for choosing Taj Fashion, a bespoke bridal couture atelier based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Each garment is handcrafted and made-to-order with meticulous attention to detail. Due to the exclusive and customized nature of our creations, shipping timelines and procedures differ from ready-made retail products.

This Shipping Policy outlines our production timelines, dispatch procedures, delivery responsibilities, and international shipping terms.


1. ORDER PROCESSING & DISPATCH

All orders are processed only after 100% full payment has been successfully received and confirmed.

As every garment is custom-made:

  • Production begins after payment confirmation.

  • Dispatch occurs only after completion of the handcrafted production process.

  • Estimated timelines provided at the time of purchase are indicative and not guaranteed.

Early completion cannot be promised due to the artisanal nature of couture craftsmanship.


2. PRODUCTION TIMELINES

Standard production timelines typically range between:

21–35 business days

Production duration depends on:

  • Fabric sourcing and availability

  • Embroidery intricacy and handwork detailing

  • Custom design complexity

  • Seasonal production demand

During peak bridal or festive seasons, timelines may extend based on artisan workload.

Rush orders may be accommodated at our sole discretion and may attract additional express charges.


3. SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Destination country

  • Package weight and dimensions

  • Courier service selected

All shipping charges are non-refundable once the order has been dispatched.


4. DELIVERY PARTNERS

We ship via reputable international and domestic courier partners, including but not limited to:

  • DHL

  • FedEx

  • Delhivery

  • Other authorized logistics providers

Once dispatched, customers will receive tracking details via email or WhatsApp.

Estimated delivery timelines after dispatch:

  • Domestic (India): 3–7 business days

  • International: 7–14 business days

Delivery times may vary depending on customs clearance, destination regulations, and local courier performance.


5. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING & CUSTOMS

We ship to select international destinations including the USA, UK, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Singapore, and Australia.

For international orders:

  • Customers are solely responsible for customs duties, VAT, import taxes, and brokerage fees.

  • Taj Fashion has no control over customs charges or clearance timelines.

  • Refusal to pay customs duties does not qualify for refund.

Risk and ownership transfer to the customer once the shipment is handed over to the courier.


6. DELAYS & FORCE MAJEURE

While we strive to meet estimated timelines, Taj Fashion is not liable for delays caused by:

  • Courier or logistics disruptions

  • Customs inspections or clearance delays

  • Government restrictions

  • Political instability or strikes

  • Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, cyclones, etc.)

  • Pandemic-related restrictions

  • Any unforeseen event beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, timelines may be extended without liability, compensation, or refund.


7. DELIVERY INSPECTION & CLAIMS

Customers are advised to inspect the package at the time of delivery.

If the parcel shows visible external damage:

  • Do not accept the delivery.

  • Notify us immediately.

Any shipping-related damage, tampering, or missing items must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Unboxing video

  • Clear photographic evidence

Failure to notify within this timeframe will be considered acceptance of the product in good condition.


8. UNDELIVERED, REFUSED, OR RETURNED SHIPMENTS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

If a shipment is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Customer unavailability

  • Refusal to accept delivery

  • Non-payment of customs duties

The following will apply:

  • Re-shipping charges must be paid by the customer.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Storage fees may apply if the parcel is held beyond 15 days.

If no response is received within 15 days of return notification, the order may be considered abandoned and forfeited without refund.


9. PACKAGING & SECURITY

All garments are securely packaged to maintain structural integrity and luxury presentation standards.

Taj Fashion is not responsible for:

  • Improper storage after delivery

  • Damage caused by third-party handling

  • Improper garment care
